Bear Creek camp is a year-round camp and retreat facility located in the St. Francis National Forest, on Bear Creek Lake.  Located 7 miles from Marianna, Bear Creek offers facilities, services and programs for a variety of groups such as church, community, professional, civic and school. We are a Camp and Retreat Center of the United Methodist Church and the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church, and part of the Southeast District.

       We offer 10 air-conditioned and heated cabins, with bunks for 70 campers. One cabin is wheel-chair accessible, but all cabins will be so in the near future. We have new separate boys and girls bathroom facilities. There is a basketball court as well as other designated activity areas. The Assembly Hall will accommodate 150 people for meals and is equipped with a commercial style kitchen, range/ovens, dishwasher, deep fryer, and deep freeze. The Assembly Hall is suitable for inclement weather use as well, for crafts, entertainment and Worship. We offer an Outdoor Chapel for Worship services, with special prayer points located throughout the camp, for those special moments.  Two locked gates provide security and emergency help is close by in the city of Marianna and in Lee County.
